Designed together with both Fender and Pete Townshend of the Who Fender introduces the new Limited Edition Pete Townshend Stratocaster. Based on a number of modded Eric Clapton Signature Stratocasters Townshend used on tour since the late '80s, this guitar is sure to please fans that love that signature Pete Townshend sound.

What is really special about this strat is the addition of a Fishman Powerbridge system which allows this guitar to create more acoustic sounds.  The original Pete Townshend modded guitars and and the new tribute model are complete with a  fourth control knob on the body which allows for the perfect mix of the acoustic and electric signals without having to switch out guitars.

The Townshend Tribute Stratocaster uses three Lace Sensor Gold™ single-coil pickups for noise-free performance inspired by classic, crisp, bell-like Fender tone, boosted by an on-board Fender preamp.
