Genuine Fender '60 Jazz Bass Tortoise Pickguard. This is a four ply pickguard; the top layer is brown tortoise and appears to be nitrocellulose plastic or a similar formulation, the next layer just beneath the tortoise and the back layers are parchment vinyl. The middle layer is black vinyl. There are ten countersunk pickguard screw holes around the perimeter of the pickguard. There's a vintage style 'scoop' in the truss rod adjustment area. Looks almost exactly like the USA Vintage Series '62 tortoise guard except there are no holes in the thumb rest and pickup cover plate area. Brand New. Genuine 0058360002. UPC 717669160333. Why so cheap? We've got one of these that is moderately warped upward. This is fairly typical with nitro pickguards. Most (but not all...) of the upward warp would be corrected when the guard is screwed down to the body. If you need a tortoise guard for your stage bass here's a bargain for you.
