The Ibanez RG652AHMFX-NGB is a top of the line Japanese built Prestige model. It is a solid body electric guitar with a Nebula Green Burst finish. Birdseye maple has been used for the fretboard and ash for the body.
The Prestige Ibanez RG652AHMFX has a Bound Birdseye Fretboard and Ash body.
This guitar is something pretty special. You might even say a real work of art. The Ibanez RG652AHMFX features a bolted on Bound Birdseye Maple neck. As well as sporting some pretty fancy figuring on the fretboard it is seriously comfortable. It feels super smooth. The Maple and Walnut neck has been crafted in five pieces for strength and stability. 24 Jumbo frets have been given the Prestige Fret Edge Treatment. They are smooth to the touch. Even on the edges. The neck has been securely bolted onto a double cutaway ash body. This combination of woods is nicely weighted and acoustically vibrant. This is before even plugging the Ibanez RG652AHMFX-NGB into an amp!
Fixed Bridge, DiMarzio Pickups and Gotoh locking machine heads.
This is a modern take on the RG. To cater for modern tastes it comes with a Gibraltar fixed bridge rather than a double locking trem. Although you lose some of the versatility you gain sustain and stability. Tonally it is a beast. This is thanks to the inclusion of twp DiMarzio humbuckers. An Air Norton in the neck, Tone Zone in the bridge. Thanks to a 5 way switch you get a good range of sounds from this instrument. The Ibanez RG652AHMFX comes with a set of Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads. You also get a quality hard case.
