Steinberger presents the return of the XT-2 Standard 4-string Electric Bass Outfit (Left Handed), the Ultimate Travel Bass™ featuring the revolutionary Steinberger body design, patented DoubleBall™ Bass Bridge, Patented 40:1 Ratio Direct-Pull tuning system, powerful Steinberger HB pickups, plus a deluxe gigbag. The Steinberger XT-2 Standard Bass is part of Steinberger's new Spirit Collection and is available in a Black Gloss finish.

The XT-2 Standard Electric Bass Outfit (Left Handed) features the revolutionary Steinberger Bass design with a Basswood body and 3-piece Hard Maple neck that together resonate as a single piece of wood. For traveling musicians, the XT-2 is the Ultimate Travel Bass™. At 38.5" long and only 7.5lbs, its ergonomic design makes it easy to take anywhere including overhead airline compartments. And thanks to its headless construction and 3-piece Hard Maple neck, the XT-2 isn't as sensitive to temperature changes, which makes it virtually indestructible! The left handed neck has a comfortable 1960's style SlimTaper™-D profile, 24 medium jumbo frets, a 34" scale length, and a 14" radius. A folding leg rest sits compactly on the lower bout of the body. A deluxe padded gigbag is included.

The Steinberger XT-2 Standard is powered by Steinberger full tone HB-1 (bridge) and HB-2 (neck) humbucker pickups. Controls feature black Steinberger style knobs for Neck Pickup Volume, Bridge Pickup Volume, and Master Tone.
