The Schecter C-6 Pro has absolutely everything you need as a modern metal guitarist at an insane price. Some of the specs on the C-6 Pro you would see on instruments double the money and upwards. Schecter have done a great job of identifying the style, hardware and features players want. Body and neck The C-6 is made of a Mahogany body with a stunning Burl top usually found on custom-made guitars. This instantly makes it a striking piece to behold. An ultra-thin ‘C’ shape neck allows you to move up and down the Wenge fingerboard at great speed, covering the 24 jumbo frets with ease. The neck is also reinforced with carbon fibre rods to hold stability when travelling or through changes in temperature. Sound Schecter have equipped the C-6 with their in-house wound Diamond Decimators. These hot humbuckers are perfect for high gain tones and will tighten quickly with plenty of response and attack. Well before making guitars, Schecter were known for producing pickups. They have a prestigious reputation and usually install the Decimators on high-end guitars. Hardware Schecter have gone even further to fool-proof the C-6 Pro. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut allows the strings to ring clear, without buzz or added noise. It’s even equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo designed exclusively for Schecter for all the divebombs and flutters you want. A coil split push/pull volume further enhances the experimentation with this guitar. It’ll split the humbuckers into single-coils and add plenty of versatility to your sound.
