The Fender Custom Shop 1956 Hardtail Stratocaster Heavy Relic delivers authentic vintage tone and feel with select modern appointments. The 2-piece select alder body features a nitrocellulose lacquer finish that allows the wood to breathe naturally and age beautifully.

Three Custom Shop hand-wound '56 Single-Coil Strat pickups provide an iconic mid-‘50s Stratocaster voicing, with the middle pickup reverse-wound/reverse-polarity for hum-cancelling performance in positions 2 and 4. The hardtail bridge with bent steel saddles offers enhanced sustain and tuning stability compared to traditional tremolo systems.
