The smaller body of the LS26 emphasises the midrange and softens the low-end response, making for an incredibly articulate, clear sound. Fingerstyle and more intricate playing styles are particularly well served by the LS’s sweet, subtle tone but it’s upfront tone and lower overall volume can add a new dimension to chord work for recording or applications where maximum volume isn’t a prerequisite. Standard L-Series wood choice of solid Engelmann spruce and solid Indian rosewood brings the best out of the LS tone with strong, powerful response across the frequency range.
